Speaking Dutch socially is different to speaking Dutch in a professional environment. In our course Conversation Dutch for non-native employees participants build up more confidence, have a better understanding how Dutch communicate in the workplace and improve their odds on the Dutch labour market. The course is tailor-made and adapted to the language level of the participant(s).
Difficulty with the word ‘er’, putting the wrong emphasis, wrong word order. These are some of the things that a non-Dutch-speaking employee can come up against. In our course Conversation Dutch your non-native speaking employees will raise their speaking skills to a higher level. They become more fluent and selfreliant in Dutch (e.g. during the weekly scrums).

What do participants learn during the course? Here are a few examples:
- putting the correct emphasis on words
- correct word order
- Intonation
- practice long and short vowels
- commonly used expressions at the workplace
- formal and informal language
In addition, participants refresh their knowledge of basic grammar in order to learn to speak as fluently as possible. Our goal: build up confidence and speaking as fluent als possible. Our goal: that your employee speaks Dutch with more self-confidence after the course.
Evaluations
All through the course we monitor the efficiency and continuity of our lessons. This way we stay on top of things and can adjust when necessary. The written evaluation with an oversight of the results, whether there is sufficient self-reliance and if a follow-up course is desirable.
